Ministers are Innovators
What do we mean by “Innovation”?
Innovation is the spark of insight that leads a minister to investigate an issue or phenomenon. That insight is usually forged by an observation of what appears to be true or the creative thrust of a new concept.
The scripture says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19
Innovation is directed by a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Innovation is founded on interest, the willingness to take calculated risks, and assessments. Innovation is established on questioning and testing the status quo. It is also recognizing opportunity and improving upon it. A minister is a person who has an unusual degree of power to create the conditions under which other people must exist. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are wielding innovation to transform generations.
